Pioneers Outstanding at Mountlake Terrace Invite

Shoreline - The Nooksack Valley Pioneers brought 10 runners down to the annual Terrace Invite at Edmonds Stadium and came away with 9 personal best times. The Pioneers were also joined by Sehome and Blaine at Edmonds Stadium in Shoreline.

Senior Alyce Harlan was the top finisher from Nooksack on the girl's side as she placed 2nd in the 1600 running a time of 5:21.17. Arlin Holder finished 13th in the 3200 making him the top finisher for the Pioneer boy's. He ran 10:31.76.


Other Pioneers who ran personal best times were Logan Clabaugh (10:42.9, 3200), Nate Snow (4:50.43, 1600), Jackson Manske (5:25.58, 1600), Gabriel Garcia (2:34.37, 800), Eric Riley (11:45.85, 3200), Lily Snow (6:10.7, 1600), and Abigayle Harlan (3:14.56, 800).


Sehome High School also had a ton of good performances. Jess Gill, on the girl's side, ran a personal best time in 11:43.47 and was on her way to a 4th place finish. Aspen Allsop finished 6th place in the 800 with a season best time, 2:29.19. Rosie Kirker ran 5:56.35 to finish as Sehome's top miler.


For the Sehome boy's, Jacob Alexander finished 16th in the 800 in 2:11.67. Freshman Roman Schroyer was the Mariners top miler running a personal best time of 4:54.25. In the 3200, Dominik Reimann ran a personal best 10:49.61 in the 3200.


Blaine's Taylee McCormick led the lady Borderites in both the 800 and 1600 running 2:49.99 and a personal best 5:55.13. Trevor Freeland led the boy's team with a 30th place finish in the 800 running 2:18.47.
