Emma Pollak was just beginning her sprinting career when she led Kentwood to two-state relay titles and finished as the runner-up in the 400 and 300-meter hurdles in her sophomore season. The future was brighter than ever, but of course, COVID took away her opportunities to win more state titles.
Over the last year, Pollak has done more than enough to progress in her sprinting and hurdle career and has landed herself a scholarship to run for the University of Colorado.
She joins Keenan Gray for another edition of #InterviewswithTheRunnerWA to talk about her short, yet successful, final year of running for the Conquerors and how she became the best all-around track athlete in Washington this spring.
