A look back at invite highlights of the weekend of April 2, 2022, in high school track.
Since stepping on the track her freshman year, Bear Creek's Braelyn Baker has been a winner.
It sounds cliche, but the young sprinting star actually hasn't lost in any events dating back to last spring and she continued her winning ways again this past Saturday at the 46th Annual Don Holder Relays at Zaepfel Stadium in Yakima.
In the three events she competed in, Baker took home individual titles in the 100- and 400-meter races and the long jump. She started the day off winning the 100 in a personal best time of 12.13 seconds, and then followed up in the 400 running another personal best time of 58.43. Both times rank top two in Washington this season.
